Why granola? This is the question I get asked more often than any other. I guess it comes from a passion for cooking, and getting creative with the foods that I love. Raised in the kitchen, I was always encouraged to try new things and appreciate the balance of hard work and fun. For many years now, I’ve been spending time making dinner for friends, brewing the perfect cup of coffee . . . and of course, making granola.
Granola is one of those foods that is fun to make, and even more fun to share. I believe there are two kinds of people in the world: Those who love my granola, and those who haven’t tried it yet. Since 2008 I have been perfecting my “Original Blend” and have continued to add new flavors along the way.
Another part of my story is the fact that I battled a deadly type of Lymphoma in 2006. Being a survivor of cancer, I have a unique appreciation for the little things, and I’m an advocate for happy and healthy lifestyles. As a way to give back, I give a percentage of every sale to the fight against cancer.
